The world is my playground, and photography is my way of remembering to play and delight others and myself with whatever is true, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy in life.
I am an artist in every sense of the word, and photography is one of my many mediums. I also enjoy designing jewelry, singing professionally, writing lyrics and poetry — creating. I choose photography as my main creative vehicle to stay in touch with my inner child. I make art through my camera lens because it makes me feel incredibly alive and aligned with expressing my creative vision.
It is absolutely exciting to be a part of the photography industry. I love to capture and keep history while helping to bring healing and honor into the lives of others. I aim to use my past experiences, empathy, and passion to transform the challenges and joys of my subjects into powerful photographs. The pleasure of capturing an amazing image motivates me to constantly pick up my camera and go in search of the extraordinary, as well as the extraordinarily ordinary.
It is important for me to not only create beautiful works of art, but to compose images that are meaningful. In my photographs, I long to embrace what makes humanity great–what helps to keep us compassionate. In an effort to capture TRUE emotion, I sing to my subjects. This helps me compose authentic emotion in a truly unique and exclusive manner. It's not just any photograph, “It’s a ‘BLÄQ + WRIGHT’!”™
