I am Shannon Wright, Fine Art Photographer and Proprietor of BLÄQ + WRIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY.  Welcome to BLÄQAZINE, a BLÄQ + WRIGHT production.  This publication is a cross between a journalistic blog and a magazine of images that share the bläqstory (backstory) of my private or personal shoots.

What better time to begin than 12/12/12?  I am truly thrilled to have the blessing of pursuing my passion and love of photography. Like myself, this publication is a work in progress.  Through my life and testimony, coupled with creativity and poetry, I have a tremendous vision for how I will make a lasting impact in the arts.  I feel especially blessed to be a photographer at such a time as this.  There are a plethora of venues and avenues to share creative works.  I’ve resisted blogging, wondering “Where will I find the time to pen something meaningful? Who can I encourage through my story?  Who out there wants to read about my journey?”  But I know there is someone who will appreciate my compositions.  I have a voice and a point of view that I feel compelled to share.  Of course, like anyone, I can second-guess myself, estimating whether I am “called” to do this or that.  If you have taken time to visit BLÄQAZINE, then it is my hope that you will find images here that move or inspire you.  It is my intention and desire to make a difference in life through my lens and creative endeavors.
